Garth Brooks Is Top Country Earner On Forbes' Highest-Earning Musician List

PEARL RECORDS artist GARTH BROOKS landed at number six on the FORBES "Highest-Earning Musician List" for the year as calculated ending on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1st, 2016, making him the highest-ranked Country artist on the list. BROOKS, who continues to sell out multiple shows in each city during his "GARTH BROOKS WORLD TOUR WITH TRISHA YEARWOOD," earned a reported $70 million in pretax income from concerts, record sales, publishing, endorsements, and other business ventures according to FORBES using data from NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN, POLLSTAR, and RIAA.
TAYLOR SWIFT topped the FORBES list with a reported $170 million in pretax income. ONE DIRECTION ($110 million), ADELE ($80.5 million), MADONNA ($76.5 million), RIHANNA ($75 million), AC/DC ($67.5 million), THE ROLLING STONES ($66.5 million), CALVIN HARRIS ($63 million), and DIDDY ($62 million) rounded out the top ten earners. Additional Country artists landing outside the Top 10 include KENNY CHESNEY ($56 million), LUKE BRYAN ($53 million), and TOBY KEITH ($47.5 million). See the full list at FORBES.
