Another college is getting out of the radio business, as the Trustees of WHEATON COLLEGE are selling noncommercial Contemporary Christian WETN/WHEATON, IL (west-suburban CHICAGO) to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $150,000.

In other filings with the FCC, CALVARY RADIO NETWORK, INC. has requested a Silent STA for W240BJ/CROWN POINT, IN due to damage from a wind storm.

DAVIDSON MEDIA STATION WEMG LICENSEE, LLC has closed on the sale of Spanish Hits WEMG-A (MEGA 105.7)/CAMDEN, NJ-PHILADELPHIA to MICHAEL SCIORE's M.S. ACQUISITIONS & HOLDINGS, LLC for $975,000.

EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of W294BT/KILLEARN, FL (now W252DL/PALATKA, FL) to NATKIM RADIO, LLC for $55,000.  The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast Adult Standards WPLK-A/PALATKA, FL.

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY has closed on the sale of W237DX/EAST LIVERPOOL, OH (now W231DK/ITHACA, NY) to SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF NEW ENGLAND, LLC for $35,000.  The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast News-Talk WNYY-A/ITHACA, NY.

FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES, INC. has closed on the sales of W283BR/DANSVILLE, NY to SALEM MEDIA OF NEW YORK, LLC for $75,000 and W279BK/CARBONDALE, PA to SALEM's PENNSYLVANIA MEDIA ASSOCIATES, INC. for $75,000.  The buyer plans to move the translators to rebroadcast News-Talk WNYM-A (AM 970 THE ANSWER)/HACKENSACK, NJ-NEW YORK and News-Talk WPGP-A (AM 1250 THE ANSWER)/PITTSBURGH, respectively.

And after reaching a consent decree with the FCC and paying a $2,800 fine to settle late license renewal, public file, and unauthorized operation charges, RAMH CORPORATION has closed on the sale of Silent KDEF-A/ALBUQUERQUE to SANGRE DE CRISTO BROADCASTING CO., INC. for $250,000.
