Big news in Country radio as CLEAR CHANNEL Country WMZQ/WASHINGTON PD GEORGE KING and WPOC/BALTIMORE PD KEN BOESEN exit their respective stations. CC/CLEVELAND OM and Country WGAR PD MEG STEVENS steps in as PD for both stations.
"This is a unique position we are creating with WPOC and WMZQ," said CLEAR CHANNEL OM/WASHINGTON-BALTIMORE JEFF KAPUGI. "After spending time with Meg and looking at her track record, I know she is the right person for this opportunity. I am excited to have her fresh set of eyes on both of our cluster's Country stations."
