No comment from anyone in the company so far, but as we first told you earlier TODAY (12/6) in a Special Bulletin, ALL ACCESS has confirmed that CBS RADIO VP/Country Programming and WUSN/CHICAGO PD JEFF KAPUGI is leaving the company effective today, nearly five years to the day of his arrival (NET NEWS 10/19/11).
KAPUGI told ALL ACCESS, “I’m excited and proud of the six years I spent with CBS RADIO, the last five at WUSN. It was the most magical, rewarding time of my career, and I’m thankful to have been able to program in my hometown, with an iconic brand. I’ve made a ton of lifelong friends and will be looking at what’s ahead, to see what comes next in JEFF KAPUGI’s excellent adventures.” Reach KAPUGI here.
ALL ACCESS also hears CBS RADIO/CHICAGO VP/Programming TODD CAVANAH, who handles day-to-day for Top 40 WBBM-F and Classic Hits WKMK, will serve as interim PD for WUSN while a search for KAPUGI’s successor is conducted.
