When veteran music executive MILT OLIN was killed by a "distracted" L.A. COUNTY sherriff's deputy in CALABASAS, CA, in DECEMBER, 2013, while riding his bicycle, his wife LOUISE decided to start the MILT OLIN FOUNDATION and the #HandsOff Movement to help end those who text while driving. So far, the campaign has reached thousands of drivers.
"Our mission is to prevent more unnecessary, senseless tragedies like the one that took MILT's life," said LOUISE, who recently presented the #HandsOff message and app to 400 local L.A. high school students.
LOUISE OLIN has now announced a GO FUND ME campaign to spread the message to help make the public aware of how using a mobile device while driving can end a life in seconds.
