David Dean Joins KMPS/Seattle As MD/Afternoons

CBS RADIO Country KMPS/SEATTLE has tapped radio vet DAVID DEAN for MD/afternoon personality responsibilities, effective immediately. He succeeds PAT GARRETT in both roles; GARRETT left KMPS last month (NET NEWS 11/23).

“DAVID has all the skills to succeed as the new afternoon host of KMPS, and I’m looking forward to introducing him to the Country music community and its passionate fans,” said PD KENNY JAY.  “SEATTLE has proven to be a great market for new Country, and DAVID will help us continue to dominate the space.”  

The move marks DEAN’s return to the CBS RADIO family, as his radio resume includes afternoons at Country sister KMLE/PHOENIX and the company’s Hot AC WOMX/ORLANDO.
