Garth Brooks Will Donate $20 From Every Boxed Set To St. Jude

PEARL RECORDS artist GARTH BROOKS has decided to donate $20 from the sale of every copy of his TARGET-exclusive boxed set, "GARTH BROOKS: The Ultimate Collection," to ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL through SUNDAY, DECEMBER 25th. Stemming from the success of iHEARTMEDIA's nationally syndicated "THE BOBBY BONES SHOW" and its ST. JUDE RADIOTHON last WEEK (NET NEWS 12/2) -- which garnered over $1.3 million in donations in a single DAY -- BROOKS was inspired by the generosity of the show's listeners to help raise funds for ST. JUDE.

"After talking with BOBBY on the show last WEEK, I was stunned when I heard just how much money the show had raised in one DAY," said BROOKS. "It really motivated me to get involved and see how I could try and help such an amazing cause. BROOKS' 10-disc boxed set includes his recently-released "Gunslinger" album and is currently priced at $29.99 at TARGET, making BROOKS' donation roughly 67% of every package sold through CHRISTMAS.
