Canada's Astral Media Revenues Up For Fiscal Q4

ASTRAL MEDIA fiscal fourth-quarter revenue rose 4%, from C$139.9 to C$146.1 million, and profits rose from C$33.3 million to C$52.5 million (59 to 97 cents/share), with the company's TV and radio divisions showing increases but outdoor remaining flat. Net income for this year's fourth quarter includes a C$4.2 million one-time impairment charge after a review of music site RADIOLIBRE.CA's business model.

Radio revenues rose from C$28.4 to C$29.4 million, with radio EBITDA up from C$8.3 to C$11.6 million.
