WPGB/Peoria Radiothon Raises Over $600,000

ALPHA MEDIA Classic Hits WPBG (93.3 THE DRIVE)/PEORIA raised an all-time record of $633,100 during its 16th Annual DRIVE FOR MIRACLES radiothon benefiting the CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF ILLINOIS on DECEMBER 8th-9th. The two-day radiothon with JOHN RILEY and NANCY FLAGG from “The Morning Drive with JOHN and NANCY” broadcast live from the hospital lobby throughout the event.

“The CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL truly touches the entire community, and it’s touched several members of our staff personally," ALPHA MEDIA SVP/Market Manager MIKE WILD said. "It’s wonderfully rewarding, because the funds offer patients and families a promise for the future.”
