COX MEDIA GROUP News-Talk WSB-A-WSBB/ATLANTA is moving evening host MARK ARUM up from 10p-midnight to 7-9p (ET) and giving weekend host ERIC VON HAESSLER a weekday show 11a-noon (ET) beginning JANUARY 9th. The moves bump CLARK HOWARD's show from 8-10p to 10p-midnight and the tape-delayed hour of SEAN HANNITY's syndicated show to 9-10p; VON HAESSLER's show is being carved out of HERMAN CAIN's current time slot, but CAIN continues 9-11a.
“I’m thrilled that the whole crew of The MARK ARUM Show” will entertain listeners at an earlier time on such a legendary radio station,” said ARUM.
“It’s a dream come true for me to have the opportunity to do my own show weekdays on WSB,” said VON HAESSLER, the former longtime "REGULAR GUYS" co-host on crosstown WKLS (96 ROCK) and WNNX (ROCK 100.5) who has been hosting WSB's "THE VON HAESSLER DOCTRINE" on SUNDAYS. “It’s the only station where I wanted to continue my career. We’ve created a show that is topical, fearless and fun. If you enjoy current events, you’ll enjoy our show.”
"We are pleased to add even more local content to our weekday line-up by adding ERIC, and it has been exciting to watch MARK's success in the late evenings,” said VP/GM DONNA HALL. “By moving MARK to 7 p.m., we're giving even more ATLANTA listeners an opportunity to get to know him through his show. MARK and ERIC are both true radio professionals, and we are fortunate to have them as part of our team."
