CLASSICS DU JOUR Goddess JUDY LIBOW shares with ALL ACCESS, "It seems that when changes occur, they usually occur at the end of a year. That being said, as we approach the end of 2016, CLASSICS DU JOUR is bidding farewell to our 'partner in crime' PAUL (RAP) RAPPAPORT, who is leaving to pursue new adventures. We will, of course, miss him day-to-day and want to acknowledge his musical knowledge, relationships and creative contributions as having been invaluable to the growth of the company. We wish him only good things for the future!"
"CLASSICS DU JOUR will continue to provide the very best in radio promotion and music marketing within the Classic Rock genre," added LIBOW. "We look forward to working with you all in the New Year and wish you and your families a happy and healthy holiday season! See you in 2017!"
RAPPAPORT said, "To all my radio, record, and industry friends and colleagues... After a very long and successful reprise run at promoting and marketing some of our greatest recording artists, and helping to build CLASSICS DU JOUR into the industry leader for promotion and marketing within the Classic Rock genre, I have decided it is time to pursue a new journey. I have had an absolute blast working with JUDY, BRIANNE and all of you and I will surely miss our week to week interaction. This isn't a retirement announcement as much as it is a desire to embark in a new direction. For one, there is a book that has been inside of me for some time now that feels like it just has to be written, and the LES PAUL beckons for more serious time spent. I am also sure that there will be new opportunities that I will be drawn to. JUDY has been the best partner I have ever had and will carry on providing the best promotion and marketing available in support of Classic Rock music and its artists through CDJ and its web platform. The word 'goodbye' doesn't seem appropriate, so I'll just say 'see ya around the block'!"
