iHEARTMEDIA/TAMPA BAY has just launched a new Throwback Hip-Hop and R&B station broadcasting on both 94.5 and 105.9 -- W233AV/GULFPORT and W290BJ/WEST TAMPA, fed by WMTX-HD2, formerly Classic Rock THUNDER TAMPA BAY -- effective immediately. THROWBACK 94.5 and 105.9 will launch with 20,000 commercial-free songs in a row and will broadcast a unique mix of throwbacks from the ‘90s and 2000s, including hits from recording artists TUPAC, THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G., JAY Z, MARY J. BLIGE and others.
