Academy Of Country Music Makes $1.5 Million Donation To ACM Lifting Lives

On the heels of the successful live events and corresponding CBS-TV broadcasts of this year's "51ST ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS," "10TH ANNUAL ACM HONORS," and more, the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC has made a record donation to ACM LIFTING LIVES in the amount of $1.5 million -- the highest-ever annual donation yet -- on behalf of the artists who participated.

"The important work ACM LIFTING LIVES does in improving lives through the power of music is only possible because of the incredible artists and industry friends who donate their time and talent to ACM events, period," said ACM EVP/Managing Dir. TIFFANY MOON. "We will continue to make every charitable dollar we spend stretch to reach those who need it most. It's a process we all feel privileged to be a part of, and we're grateful to the ACM and LIFTING LIVES Board for their support."
