KZPK (Wild Country 99)/St. Cloud Hosts Auction For Local Family

LEIGHTON BROADCASTING Country KZPK (WILD COUNTRY 99)/ST. CLOUD, MN utilized its morning show to raise funds to help four young girls, ages four through twelve, whose mother passed away in a car accident on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5th.

The station partnered with CAPITOL NASHVILLE, REVIVER RECORDS, and RCA NASHVILLE to put together VIP concert packages with tickets, meet and greet opportunities, and more to auction off live on-air. The "WILD WAKEKUP" team of KRIS AND WOOD, as well as KZPK on-air personalities BROOK STEPHENS and JOHNNY TACO, auctioned off the items and incentives raising $10,540 in less than three hours.  The proceeds will help the girls have a CHRISTMAS to remember, and will also serve as the start of a college fund for each girl.

"The WILD COUNTRY 99 staff will be hosting a special dinner with the girls and their family next week when SANTA will deliver CHRISTMAS gifts, and the WILD CREW will present a big check of their college funds!" KZPK MD BROOK STEPHENS told ALL ACCESS.
