TOWNSQUARE MEDIA/DULUTH, MN Market President/Chief Revenue Officer/Director of Sales DEREK FALTER is moving across the state to join HUBBARD BROADCASTING as GM for its ALEXANDRIA and WADENA, MN stations. FALTER, who will oversee Country KIKV-F (KIK FM 100.7) and Oldies KULO (COOL 94.3)/ALEXANDRIA and Country KKWS (K106), Classic Country KWAD-A and KNSP-A (CLASSIC HIT COUNTRY)/WADENA, is replacing DAVE VAGLE, who is retiring after 27 years in the ALEXANDRIA market. The clusters were acquired by HUBBARD from OMNI BROADCASTING in early 2015.
VP/Regional Manager of MINNESOTA DAN SEEMAN said, “I can’t tell you how excited we are to bring DEREK into HUBBARD BROADCASTING. DEREK's success in DULUTH speaks for itself and he will bring experience, passion and creativity to the ALEXANDRIA and WADENA markets. He has big shoes to fill. DAVE VAGLE has been an outstanding leader in the market for 27 years.”
“I’m extremely honored by this unique opportunity to join HUBBARD BROADCASTING INC. and help them to continue to evolve and grow,” added FALTER, who will start with HUBBARD on JANUARY 17th. “They are dedicated to helping local and regional businesses with their needs today, tomorrow and in the future and that truly resonates with me. HBI is a proven leader in the industry and I think with my natural skill set and experience I’ll be able to help make an impact immediately.”
