WOWO/Ft. Wayne Raises Over $171,000 For Local Charities

FEDERATED MEDIA News-Talk WOWO-A-W298BJ/FORT WAYNE hosted a two day radiothon, "The Brigadoon Fitness Penny Pitch," which was able to raise $171,904 for COMMUNITY HARVEST FOOD BANK and SUPER SHOT. 

"The generosity was overwhelming this year," said PD RYAN WRECKER.  

“For the second consecutive year, BRIGADOON FITNESS welcomes the opportunity to partner with WOWO by giving back to the community by matching, dollar for dollar, the total amount raised for local charities through PENNY PITCH,” said BRIGADOON FITNESS Owner BRUCE DYE. 

The money will go to support COMMUNITY HARVEST FOOD BANK's program called Hope for Heroes.  It focuses on providing groceries at no cost to veterans and military families in need through their Community Cupboard pantry.
