Houston Christian Broadcasters Buys Three FMs In Hot Springs, AR

CENTRAL ARKANSAS RADIO GROUP, LLC is selling Rock KYRC (REAL ROCK 93.5)/BISMARCK-HOT SPRINGS, AR; Southern Gospel KHTO-F/PEARCY-HOT SPRINGS, AR; and Oldies KHRK-F (KOOL 101.9)/MOUNTAIN PINE-HOT SPRINGS, AR to HOUSTON CHRISTIAN BROADCASTERS, INC. for $350,000 plus a charitable contribution from the seller for a portion of the value of the stations.

In other filings with the FCC, MAPLETON LICENSE OF SPOKANE, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for K223BD/ST. MARIES, ID due to loss of tower site and while MAPLETON, which acquired the translator on NOVEMBER 18th, relocates the station.

GATLINBURG CHURCH OF CHRIST has filed for a Silent STA for WJFS-LP/GATLINBURG, TN after its tower and studio were destroyed in the recent wildfires.

LESLEY L. KIDNER and CHRIS KIDNER and their X FACTOR MEDIA have closed on the sale of SOUTH SHORE BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of Hot AC WQGR (COUGAR 93.7 FM)/NORTH MADISON, OH, to MEDIA ONE HOLDINGS, LLC (JAMES T.EMBRESCIA and LEE ZAPIS).

HOOTEN BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC has closed on the sale of AC KUNK (THE SKUNK FM)/MENDOCINO, CA to RUBIN BROADCASTING, INC. for $275,000.

GOLDEN WEST MEDIA has closed on the sale of W274AZ/WOODLAWN, VA to JOHNSON BROADCAST VENTURES, LTD. The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Urban Oldies-Gospel WCBT-A/ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC.

And WORD BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. has closed on the sale of Haitian WYMM-A/JACKSONVILLE, FL to AVM BROADCASTING LLC (successor to PUISSANCE INTER RADIO) for $60,000 (plus $350,000 already paid under a 2014 option agreement).  The buyer has been operating the station under an LMA since 2014.
