The Empire State Building And Mariah Carey Get In The Holiday Spirit

The holidays are now being celebrated over 100 stories in the sky, as NEW YORK CITY's EMPIRE STATE BUILDING is synching CHRISTMAS lighting atop the iconic building synched to MARIAH CAREY's "All I Want For CHRISTMAS Is You."

WNBC-TV reports, "CAREY pulled the switch at a lighting ceremony in the building’s art deco lobby on MONDAY, ushering in a nightly light show to her song 'All I Want for CHRISTMAS Is You.' The light show will be synced every night until CHRISTMAS at 7p on iHEARTMEDIA/NEW YORK Top 40 WHTZ (Z100), Top 40 WKTU and AC WLTW (106.7 LITE FM). The holiday light show features a dazzling display of red, green and white and is visible across much of the city and tri-state."

“I can see the Empire State Building from my apartment,” CAREY said. “To have its iconic lights synced to my song is the perfect gift this holiday season.”
