Jeff Rafter Named VP/Programming For Press Communications/Monmouth-Ocean, NJ

PRESS COMMUNICATIONS has named JEFF RAFTER VP/Programming for its MONMOUTH-OCEAN, NJ, cluster including Hot AC WWZY (FUN 107.1), Classic Hits WBHX (99.7 THE ISLAND) and Oldies WHTG. 

Prior to joining PRESS, RAFTER served as PD for GREATER MEDIA AC WMGQ/MIDDLESEX- SOMERSET-UNION, NJ, since 2007. He also worked as OM for GREATER MEDIA Classic Hits WJRZ/MANAHAWKIN, NJ, and from 1991 to 2002 was PD for TOWNSQUARE MEDIA AC WOBM and News/Talk WOBM-A/TOMS RIVER, NJ.

RAFTER began his career working for PRESS COMMUNICATIONS in the early '80s, when he was also PD for the former SEAVIEW 107.1 from 1989 thru 1992.

About his return, RAFTER commented, “My first management job was with PRESS in the early '80s. I’m excited to be back, working with this very talented staff and these great stations.”
