ALPHA MEDIA/SHREVEPORT, LA, has collected over 150 sacks packed with personal hygiene items for the PACK THE SACK event. ALPHA MEDIA, DOLLAR MANIA and listeners of the SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA, area teamed together to pack sacks to deliver to the homeless. Items in the sacks included toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc. The sacks were delivered on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14th, to THE PROVIDENCE HOUSE, RESTORATION CRISIS CENTER FOR WOMEN, CHRISTIAN SERVICES CENTER, SALVATION ARMY and VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA.

ALPHA MEDIA SHREVEPORT Account Executive RASHEEDA SIMMONS commented: "This was our first year doing this promotion, and it turned out great! Our longtime client DOLLAR MANIA stepped up, and sponsored the bags for us. We were able to get 150 bags filled with toiletries from our listeners. The donations were split between five different charities that were extremely grateful for the donations. We hope to make this an even bigger event next year!”
