The Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge Set For Memphis

THE BLUES FOUNDATION will host the INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE, with 263 blues acts from around the world competing for best band and best solo act, from JANUARY 31st through FEBRUARY 4th on historic BEALE STREET in MEMPHIS. The GRAND FINALS will be held at the fabled ORPHEUM THEATER on FEBRUARY 4th, starting at noon (ET).
The challenge will take place in 21 clubs along BEALE STREET each night beginning at approximately 5p (ET) and going until around 11:30p (ET). After the challenge ends each night, the music will continue with showcases and jams during the day, with additional showcases as well as panels, workshops, master classes, and films. Passes are $100 for the week and will give access to all IBC events and music.
The "Keeping the Blues Alive Award Luncheon" will take place on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd at 11a (ET) and requires a ticket upgrade at $50 per person.
