ALPHA MEDIA/SALINA, KS' News KSAL-A and Country KYEZ (Y93.7) assisted SAINT FRANCIS COMMUNITY SERVICES' “CHRISTMAS for Kids” campaign by collecting hundreds of toys through on-air donations and several community toy drives at TARGET from NOVEMBER 28th through DECEMBER 13th. All donations will benefit local area foster children.
ALPHA MEDIA SALINA Market Manager BOB PROTZMAN commented: “Our goal is to make sure that all children have joy brought into their lives during the CHRISTMAS season. Helping SAINT FRANCIS bring that joy to children who otherwise may not have anything under their tree on CHRISTMAS EVE is the entire reason for our partnership. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love from our listeners and families in central KANSAS. It is a small thing we do to bring a little ‘SANTA CLAUS’ to our children.”
SAINT FRANCIS COMMUNITY SERVICES Dir./Marketing VICKEE SPICER added: “We are so thankful for ALPHA MEDIA in orchestrating the events to raise awareness and collect toys and clothes for the children of SAINT FRANCIS. This year, they made sure CHRISTMAS wishes come true for 70 individual children in our care, with an abundance of additional gifts to help meet the needs of the additional 700 kids served by SAINT FRANCIS in SALINA and the surrounding communities.”
