  The CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION) has elected its new President and Chairman. The appointments take place on NOVEMBER 7th, following the 40th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS.
  Coming in as President is CLARENCE SPALDING. He is the President of SPALDING ENTERTAINMENT/NASHVILLE. SPALDING will be joined by new Chairman MIKE DUNGAN, President of CAPITOL RECORDS/NASHVILLE.
