KWHL/Anchorage Gets Money And Toys For Tots

ALPHA MEDIA Rock KWHL (106.5 K-WHALE)/ANCHORAGE, AK raised $36,107 and received thousands of donated toys during its 21st Annual TOYS FOR TOTS toy drive. The three-day event is a partnership between the station and the U.S. MARINES.

The K-WHALE on-air team manned and broadcast live from the TOYS FOR TOTS RV for three consecutive days, DECEMBER 7th-9th, and provided food, drinks and prizes to the hundreds of listeners who contributed to the effort. “It is a testament to the power of the K-WHALE brand and its talent that our listeners donate to this cause with such generosity,” ALPHA MEDIA/ALASKA Market Manager SCOTT SMITH said.
