Podtrac Releases December Podcast Industry Audience Rankings

Rankings
PODTRAC's ninth monthly ranking of podcast publishers, for DECEMBER 2016, show the top 10 networks "relatively flat" on a month-to-month basis. The top 10 saw 186 million total Global Unique Streams and Downloads for the month, down by 8% from NOVEMBER. In the top 10, NERDIST INDUSTRIES fell out of the top 10 and AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA returned.
The rankings, which only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
- NPR
- WNYC STUDIOS
- THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL
- HOWSTUFFWORKS
- RADIOTOPIA
- CBS
- THE MOTH
- WBUR/BOSTON
- AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA
- TWiT
