RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES is partnering with WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE star BLAKE SHELTON to open a multi-million dollar, multi-level entertainment venue called "Ole Red" on NASHVILLE's lower Broadway. The "Ole Red" moniker pays homage to the RYMAN AUDITORIUM as well as SHELTON's popular hit, "Ol' Red."
The 26,000-square-foot venue will house a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor, and private VIP booths for small groups in addition to private event space and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop with indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant. The space will be located at 300 Broadway in NASHVILLE, current home of the OPRY ORIGINALS storefront and was previously home to the BROADWAY NATIONAL BANK. The "Ole Red" complex is slated for a 2018 opening. SHELTON participated in a FACEBOOK LIVE video TODAY (1/5) from the RYMAN AUDITORIUM to announce the plans for "Ole Red," which includes a TISHOMINGO, OK location set to open in late 2017.
