Salem Takes KXFN/St. Louis To 'Health And Wellness Radio' Format

SALEM has launched a "health and wellness radio" format as "AM 1380 THE PULSE" on the revived KXFN-A/ST. LOUIS, which had gone silent late in 2015.  SALEM's CARON BROADCASTING bought the station from GRAND SLAM SPORTS, LLC's receiver DETALUS for $190,000 last AUGUST and at the same time bought K283CA/FESTUS, MO from MISSOURI RIVER CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. for $40,000 to move the translator to rebroadcast KXFN.

Included in the new lineup are GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK's DR. DALIAH, "DEAD DOCTORS DON'T LIE," ROBERT SCOTT BELL, "DR. ASA ON CALL," DR. KATHERINE ALBRECHT, and "THE BRIGHT SIDE."
