Beasley Debuts The Drive In Augusta

At 9a today (10/12) BEASLEY BROADCASTING/AUGUSTA flipped Classic Country WKDG to Classic Hits under the name 93.9 THE DRIVE. The new station, which targets adults aged 25-54 will feature classic hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

“The songs we will play on THE DRIVE are songs we grew up with, songs which made FM radio great,” remarked CONI SAMSON, GM of WKDG. “These classic hits represent some of the greatest rock music ever made, and they are still as timely today – on radio, as in popular culture. Listeners can expect to hear a lot of music variety, but they will only hear songs they know, by artists they love,” SAMSON continued.
