WHUR (96.3)/Washington, D.C. To Help Launch The New ‘Michael Baisden Show’

HOWARD UNIVERSITY Urban AC WHUR (ADULT MIX 96.3)/WASHINGTON D.C. has tapped the SUPERADIO syndicated “MICHAEL BAISDEN" show for PM drive. 

The show will re-launch nationally on the KING Holiday, JANUARY 16th.  BAISEDEN was previously on the station from 2005-2013; it was then syndicated by CUMULUS MEDIA.

GM JIM WATKINS said, “We are very excited to have MICHAEL back in our program lineup and we look forward to the same ratings success he enjoyed in previous years. BAISDEN will be joined on the show by his sidekick GEORGE WILLBORN, “The Stress Reliever,” who is a fan favorite for WASHINGTON listeners.”

WILLBORN is a hold over for WHUR because he was paired with TONY & MO; the show being replaced by the new BAISDEN venture slated for other markets including WALR/ATLANTA (NET NEWS 12/13/16).  The new syndicated show is in conjunction with AMERICAN URBAN RADIO NETWORKS (AURN).
