Danny Parkins Announces Exit From KCSP (610 Sports)/Kansas City

FRIDAY will be DANNY PARKINS' last day co-hosting afternoons at ENTERCOM Sports KCSP-A (610 SPORTS)/KANSAS CITY, reports the KANSAS CITY STAR.  PARKINS joined KCSP in 2011 from SYRACUSE.

PARKINS tweeted the news YESTERDAY (1/9) and declined to tell the STAR's PETE GRATHOFF where he will be moving, citing contractual obligations, only saying that "It was tough in the sense that KANSAS CITY has been great to me, but I think people once they see where I’m going and what I’m doing will understand why I had to do it.  Ultimately, it was actually not that tough of decision, because the opportunity is so perfect.  But everything else about it was very difficult, because I love the city, I love the people and I love who I work with."

Co-host CARRINGTON HARRISON and producer BEN HEISLER will continue hosting afternoons.
