Kudos to PREMIERE NETWORKS syndicated "BOBBY BONES SHOW" host BOBBY BONES, who has raised approximately $3.8 million for ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL over the past three YEARS. Last NIGHT (1/9), BONES celebrated the fundraising efforts with his "MILLION DOLLAR SHOW 2" with appearances from his band, THE RAGING IDIOTS, and Country artists RASCAL FLATTS, SAM HUNT, THE BAND PERRY, CAITLYN SMITH, and more (NET NEWS 11/9/16).
Among the surprise guests were BROTHERS OSBORNE, THOMAS RHETT, and GARTH BROOKS. Proceeds from the sold-out show also benefitted ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, and BROOKS upped the ante with a personal donation of his own. During the show, BROOKS presented BONES with a $2 million check for the hospital, and the two celebrated with a performance of BROOKS' hit, "Friends In Low Places" to round out the show.
"We are incredibly humbled by the support of BOBBY BONES, THE RAGING IDIOTS, GARTH BROOKS, BROTHERS OSBORNE, THOMAS RHETT, THE BAND PERRY, RASCAL FLATTS, SAM HUNT, CRAIG CAMPBELL, CAITLYN SMITH, and the millions of Country music fans that support our mission," said ALSCA Pres./CEO RICHARD SHADYAC of the fundraising and awareness organization for ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL. "The funds announced last NIGHT in support of our mission are staggering and are another example of the Country music industry’s incredible support of ST. JUDE for more than 20 YEARS. These funds are critically important in helping ST. JUDE doctors and scientists find cures and save the lives of children in every community who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases."
