"I will say it was humbling, and personally, I probably needed to be humbled." That was newly announced iHEARTMEDIA Country KNIX/PHOENIX morning co-host TIM HATTRICK, telling the ARIZONA REPUBLIC about struggling to find work of any kind during the past few years.
HATTRICK rejoined KNIX earlier this week (NET NEWS 1/9), 10 years after leaving the radio station and nearly five after last being on the air, at CBS RADIO crosstown Country KMLE, with then-partner WILLY D. LOON. HATTRICK told the REPUBLIC. “I looked at a couple of radio jobs, but nothing really happened. I started looking for jobs in marketing, advertising, and P.R., but I couldn’t find a job in any of those places.”
Ultimately, HATTRICK worked for AMAZON fulfillment, UPS, and drove for UBER before getting an inquiry to come back to radio and KNIX. "I've always been a positive and somewhat confident guy, but I appreciate things more now,” said HATTRICK. "I kind of thought I was never going to go back and do something I truly loved, and now here I am." Read the entire article here.
