SUMMITMEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic WHZT (HOT 98-1)/GREENSVILLE, SC has rebranded itself as TIGER 98.1 in honor of the historic Clemson UNIVERSITY TIGERS win over ALABAMA in the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME MONDAY night (1/9) in TAMPA, FL.  The change is evident on their website as well as their social media pages.

WHZT OM/PD MIKE KLEIN commented, "We wanted to honor the CLEMSON TIGER football team for being National Champs!"

TONE HOLLYWOOD, morning show host on TIGER 98.1's HOLLYWOOD IN THE MORNING added, "This weekend, we are shouting to all of the Upstate that we are ALL IN! We're excited to celebrate the national championship with CLEMSON UNIVERSITY by transforming to TIGER 98.1!"
