HUBBARD BROADCASTING Country WIL/ST. LOUIS and BALL PARK VILLAGE had to postpone tonight’s “Hot Country Nights” concert featuring JOE NICHOLS and CASEY DONAHEW BAND due to an incoming ice storm. Due to the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ice warnings and potentially dire driving conditions, the concert has been postponed for a future date to be announced.
“BALLPARK VILLAGE, 92.3 WIL and JOE NICHOLS MANAGEMENT will be rescheduling our concert originally set for today, FRIDAY, JANUARY 13th at 6p due to serious winter weather conditions," a statement read. "We apologize for this inconvenience but our guests’ safety is of utmost importance and concern. Please exercise extreme caution and stay tuned as we plan to reschedule this concert.”
“The safety of WIL’s New Country followers and JOE NICHOLS and CASEY DONAHEW’s fans is paramount," WIL PD SCOTT RODDY said. "With the winter weather predicted to blanket the ST. LOUIS area this weekend, we all felt this was the best option to keep our listeners and the fans safe.”
The new rescheduled date for the show will be announced over the air on 92.3 WIL, at www.WIL92.com and on the WIL and BALL PARK VILLAGE FACEBOOK pages.
