Report: President-elect Trump Met With FCC's Ajit Pai On Monday

BROADCASTING AND CABLE reports that President-elect DONALD TRUMP has met with FCC Commissioner AJIT PAI, who has been touted as the likely candidate for Interim Chairman of the Commission.

TRUMP spokesman SEAN SPICER said that PAI was TRUMP's last meeting on MONDAY (1/16).  The President-elect will be selecting candidates to replace outgoing Chairman TOM WHEELER and Democratic commissioner JESSICA ROSENWORCEL, who twice failed to get confirmed for re-nomination to the panel.  Democrat MIGNON CLYBURN and Republican MIKE O'RIELLY remain with PAI on the Commission.

TRUMP also met with former FTC Commissioner JOSHUA WRIGHT in MONDAY's meetings.
