SB NATION RADIO is relaunching SEAN SALISBURY's afternoon show "PRIME CUT" as "THE SEAN SALISBURY SHOW" on JANUARY 30th. SALISBURY's "PRIME CUT" co-host STEVE BUNIN left the show in DECEMBER to join TEGNA NBC affiliate KING-TV/SEATTLE as sports anchor; on the revamped show, SB NATION RADIO's BRIAN BARRETT and DENVER POST DPTV host ROBIN CARLIN are joining SALISBURY as co-hosts, with ADAM SAGER producing. The new version of the show will debut with shows from SUPER BOWL Radio Row at 9a-noon (ET) before settling back into the 4-8p (ET) slot on FEBRUARY 6th.
“I am pumped about this new show,” said SALISBURY. “The team I have is passionate, prepared and funny. The opinions will be off the charts and it will be radio that keeps you dialed in and laughing.”
“I cannot wait to work with SEAN SALISBURY,” said BARRETT. “He’s one of the greatest personalities in our business. SEAN and I have already established a tremendous chemistry on the air, and adding ROBIN CARLIN will bring a unique and can’t miss show to SB NATION RADIO.”
“Having held many roles within the sports media industry, I am absolutely thrilled about the opportunity I’ve been given by SB NATION RADIO,” said CARLIN. “Our new show will be edgy, fun and informative. I’m very fortunate to have the chance to work with and learn from one of the very best in the business.”
“In all my years in radio, I have never been more excited about the launch of a new show,” said PD/COO CRAIG LARSON. “SEAN is a consummate professional and an outstanding leader for our network. ROBIN, BRIAN and ADAM all have the potential to become superstars in our industry.”
