In other filings with the FCC, W. CHARLES WELCH's WELCH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is assigning Urban WJUC (THE JUICE 107.3)/SWANTON-TOLEDO, OH to FLEMING STREET COMMUNICATIONS, INC., owned by his children, for no consideration as part of his estate planning.

MKHANGROUP, LLC is selling K241BQ/FORT MCDOWELL, AZ to RIVIERA BROADCASTING, LLC for $230,000.  The seller acquired the translator from 1TV.COM, INC. but discovered that the translator has been accused of causing interference to a full-power station, which the sale is intended to help resolve.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY has requested a Silent STA for noncommercial Variety WNYU/NEW YORK, which has been off the air since DECEMBER 19th due to a severed cable.  Meanwhile, the station has continued to broadcast via its booster WNYC-FM1.

MIDDLE GEORGIA COMMUNITY RADIO INC. has closed on the sale of silent noncommercial WAKP/SMITHBORO, GA to FRIENDS IN NEED FOUNDATION INC. for $18.000.

BIRACH BROADCASTING CORPORATION has closed on the sale of Silent WKGE-A/JOHNSTOWN, PA to EDWARD A. SCHOBER for $25,000.

COVENANT NETWORK has closed on the sale of K246BW/EDINA, MO (now K237GQ/KANSAS CITY, KS) and K258CF/CAMDENTON, MO (now K244FL/WICHITA, KS) to CATHOLIC RADIO NETWORK, INC. for $55,000.  The translators will rebroadcast Religion KDMR-A/KANSAS CITY and Religion KPHN-A/EL DORADO, KS, respectively.

COVENANT NETWORK has also closed on the sale of K298BW/JACKSON, MO (now W273DE/ANNA, IL) to WIBH, INC. for $25,000.  The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast Classic Country WIBH-A/ANNA, IL.

FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES, INC. has closed on the sale of W225AQ/LOCK HAVEN, PA to HUBBARD's WASHINGTON DC FCC LICENSE SUB, LLC for $72,500.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Variety WWFD-A (THE GAMUT)/FREDERICK, MD.

And BLACK MEDIA WORKS, INC. has closed on the sale of W259CC/IMMOKALEE, FL to FLORIDA BROADCASTING MEDIA, LLC for $65,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Spanish Variety WQXM-A (LA X 1460)/BARTOW, FL.

Also, the Commission deleted FRIENDS OF CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC.'s permit for W267BU/FISHERS, IN and the proposed sale of the station to LESTER SUMRALL INTERNATIONAL, INC., ruling that the permit expired on JANUARY 10th.
