Official: Mainelli Gets Free FM/NY PD Post

As ALL ACCESS first reported on WEDNESDAY (NET NEWS 10/25), CBS Talk WFNY (92.3 FREE FM)/NEW YORK has named JOHN MAINELLI its new PD as MARK CHERNOFF relinquishes programming duties at the station to concentrate on sister Sports WFAN-A.

MAINELLI programmed crosstown ABC Talk WABC-A and BUCKLEY Talk WOR-A and later consulted then-Talk WNEW, where he worked with FREE FM morning team OPIE AND ANTHONY. He also reported on radio for the NEW YORK POST and operated MAINELLI CONSULTING. Earlier he programmed KCMO-A/KANSAS CITY and and KSDO-A/SAN DIEGO and worked as News Editor at KCBS-A/SAN FRANCISCO.
