The UNITED KINGDOM is the guest of honour at this year’s conference and the opening Conference YESTERDAY focussed on the U.K. and its title was “Radio Is In The Future.” The panel members speaking were DOM CHAMBERS of SOMER VALLEY FM (COMMUNITY RADIO, U.K.) ALAN DAVEY, BBC U.K., FORD ENNALS of DIGITAL RADIO U.K., WILL HARDING, GLOBAL U.K., VANESSA MESSAD, WIRELESS GROUP, IAN O’NEILL, DEPARTMENT FOR CULTURE, MEDIA AND SPORT (U.K. GOVERNMENT DEPT.) and STEVE PARKINSON of BAUER MEDIA U.K.
