More Photo Copyright Suits Filed Against Media Companies

The latest lawsuits filed by attorney RICHARD LIEBOWITZ over unauthorized use of copyrighted photos by media company websites include one against radio syndicator COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS.
Among the latest wave of suits, photographer WILLIAM FARRINGTON is the plaintiff against COMPASS for using a photo of ANTHONY WEINER on a horse during his sex addiction rehabilitation stint on the website of TODD SCHNITT's syndicated talk show without a license. Photographer STEVEN FERDMAN is suing TURNER NETWORK TELEVISION for using a photo of TOM HOLLAND on the set of "SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING" on the TNTLA.COM (TNT's Spanish-language Latin American network) website. And photographer STEVE SANDS is suing CBS INTERACTIVE INC. for use of a photo of KRISTEN RITTER and MIKE COTLER on the set of NETFLIX series "MARVEL'S JESSICA JONES" at the TV GUIDE website.
