MEGHAN MCCAIN has exited PREMIERE NETWORKS’ “AMERICA NOW” and former CNN and THEBLAZE commentator/host and CIA officer BUCK SEXTON is taking over the evening talk show as of FEBRUARY 6th. MCCAIN is leaving to concentrate on her expanded duties as a commentator for FOX NEWS CHANNEL, the syndicator said.
“I could not be more excited for this opportunity with PREMIERE NETWORKS,” said SEXTON. “The time I spend on radio is the best part of every day, and I look forward to getting to know the AMERICA NOW audience and partnering with PREMIERE to bring new listeners across the U.S. on to Team BUCK.”
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome BUCK as host of AMERICA NOW,” said PREMIERE NETWORKS President JULIE TALBOTT. “He’s smart and engaging, and his previous work with the U.S. Intelligence Community makes him uniquely qualified to lead conversations about the news, events and issues that affect all Americans. We’re confident BUCK’s distinct perspective will resonate with AMERICA NOW’s national audience and create powerful multi-platform opportunities for our partners.”
iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KFI-A/LOS ANGELES weekend “DARK SECRET PLACE” host BRYAN SUITS is filling in on “AMERICA NOW” until SEXTON’s debut. SEXTON will be the show’s third permanent host, following ANDY DEAN and MCCAIN; “JOE PAGS” PAGLIARULO did an extended fill-in stint on the show between DEAN’s departure and MCCAIN’s debut.
