JONATHAN PARTCH has been named GM of ROSTRUM RECORDS by its Founder/President BENJY GRINBERG. PARTCH joined the label in 2015 as VP Marketing and Sales.
Prior to that, PARTCH was the GM of ADAM LEVINE's 222 RECORDS. He began his career at INTERSCOPE RECORDS in 2000, transitioning into a marketing role at A&M RECORDS under RON FAIR in 2003.
Commented GRINBERG: "JONATHAN has been such an amazing addition to our team, and I'm very excited that he has agreed to help lead our label into the future as ROSTRUM's GM. He has seen the industry from many different angles over the years as both a label executive and a manager, and he has a wealth of knowledge to share with our artists and the rest of our team. He's also an awesome guy, in general."
Added PARTCH: "From my time at INTERSCOPE/A&M under the tutelage of RON FAIR, to my days at 222 RECORDS with JORDAN FELDSTEIN and ADAM LEVINE, I've been able to learn from very influential and brilliant people in the music business. To work with such a highly intelligent, motivated, thoughtful, and true music person like BENJY GRINBERG is not only an honor for which I am very grateful, but, an opportunity that will undoubtedly help me further grow as an executive."
The label's current roster includes MOD SUN, THE BIRD AND THE BEE, MIKE TAYLOR, VAIL, TEAMMATE, BRAVES and JULIANN ALEXANDER. It has recently built a full-service recording studio in the ROSTRUM RECORDS building in HOLLYWOOD, CA, along with the recent announcements of a partnership with CAROLINE and the acquisition of the CANTORA RECORDS catalog. The label is best known for discovering and signing both WIZ KHALIFA and MAC MILLER.
