The ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION (EJAF) announced that ST. PAUL & THE BROKEN BONES will perform at this year’s ACADEMY AWARDS VIEWING PARTY to be held on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26th at WEST HOLLYWOOD PARK. This annual gala, sponsored by BVLGARI, NEURO DRINKS and DIANA JENKINS, is the largest fundraising event in HOLLYWOOD on OSCAR night and has raised more than $56 million to support the FOUNDATION’s mission to achieve an AIDS-free generation.
Commented ELTON JOHN: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome ST. PAUL & THE BROKEN BONES to EJAF’s ACADEMY AWARDS VIEWING PARTY. They are just amazing, fantastic musicians, and I know our guests will be thrilled by their performance.”
Led by dynamic front man PAUL JANEWAY, ST. PAUL & THE BROKEN BONES has forged a reputation as a must-see live act, headlining sold-out shows across the U.S. and EUROPE, while also supporting acts such as the ROLLING STONES, and performing at major festivals, including BONNAROO, COACHELLA and LOLLAPALOOZA.
The BIRMINGHAM, AL-based band’s latest full-length album, "Sea Of Noise," offers a deepening and broadening of the unit’s musical reach and lyrical concerns.
The evening will also include a dinner designed by internationally renowned Chef GORDON RAMSAY, a live auction conducted by ALEXANDER GILKES of PADDLE8 and DJ JOHNNY DYNELL.
