WEZL And WXLY/Charleston Combine To Raise Over $177K For Children's Hospital

iHEARTMEDIA Country WEZL and sister AC WXLY (Y102.5)/CHARLESTON’s 9th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon raised over $177,000 to benefit MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA (MUSC) SHAWN JENKINS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, an integrated pediatric health care facility in SOUTH CAROLINA.
This year the Cares for Kids Radiothon, a two-day live fundraising broadcast, took place on JANUARY 26–27 from 6a–7p each day. The event featured iHEARTMEDIA/CHARLESTON’s on-air personalities RIC RUSH, TYLER REESE, COURTNEY STARR, BRIAN CLEARY, HILLARY BORDEN, KELLY GOLDEN and GARY GOLDMAN, as well as ABC NEWS 4 personalities DEAN STEPHENS, DAVE WILLIAMS, CATHY HOBBS, SONYA STEVENS and EMILY GRACEY.
