Moving time is here for the five U.S. commercial radio networks shifting from the AMC-8 satellite to the new AMC-18, and that means affiliates will need to reorient their dishes from 139 degrees West Longitude to 105 degrees West Longitude.
LEARFIELD, ORBITAL MEDIA NETWORKS (OMNi), PREMIERE NETWORKS, SKYVIEW NETWORKS, and WESTWOOD ONE are all now offering their full programming slates on the new satellite, including programming from third parties who lease time on the satellite through the five companies.
Radio stations have until JUNE 20th to re-point their downlink antennas; the programming will leave AMC-8 after that time. Find out more at amc8migration.com.
