Kris Daniels Continues As KYCE/Las Vegas PD; Emmanuel Garcia Joins As MD/Afternoons

BEASLEY Country KCYE/LAS VEGAS has named market radio vet EMMANUEL “RANSOM” GARCIA MD/afternoon personality. Concurrently, KCYE morning co-host KRIS DANIELS continues in that role and resumes PD duties for the station. Last JULY, DANIELS announced she would relinquish the PD chair and handle APD/MD duties in order to focus on her “KRIS & MAD DOG” morning show (NET NEWS 7/8).

“KRIS DANIELS has worked for BEASLEY/LAS VEGAS for the past three-and-a-half YEARS, serving as PD/APD/MD and morning show host," said Market Manager TOM HUMM. “She has an impressive work ethic and passion for the PD position. She knows the market competitive landscape very well and is ready to focus on programming KCYE to new levels.”

GARCIA succeeds TODD MICHAELS, who announced his departure from the station YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 2/7). Another lineup adjustment has station vet PAUL KNIGHT returning for middays after taking a timeout from radio. “The COYOTE is in my blood," said KNIGHT. “I miss the energy, listener interaction, events, and concerts. Let’s face it, I wanted to come home and be a part of my COYOTE family." KNIGHT previously hosted afternoons on KCYE until MICHAELS' arrival in 2015.
