AUSTRALIA's NATIONAL RUGBY LEAGUE inks deals with the MACQUARIE RADIO NETWORK and AUSTEREO to carry matches for the next three years. MACQUARIE, which owns 2GB/SYDNEY, retains its commercial AM rights and will add FRIDAY-night matches to its schedule, while AUSTEREO's 2MMM (TRIPLE M)/SYDNEY will carry all MONDAY-night matches and its 4MMM (TRIPLE M)/BRISBANE will carry MONDAY-night matches featuring the BRONCOS, COWBOYS, and TITANS. The ABC will continue as the noncommercial carrier of NRL matches.
