CUMULUS Country WNSH (NASH FM 94.7)/NEW YORK has upped weekend/swing host KATIE NEAL to middays, where she succeeds SHILA NATHAN, who departed in NOVEMBER (NET NEWS 11/17).
"KATIE is the epitome of the AMERICAN dream and underscores the new CUMULUS' commitment to talent," said CUMULUS SVP/Content & Programming MIKE MCVAY. "A small town girl from ILLINOIS proves her abilities by working weekends and excelling at every job she is given. If that isn't a Country song waiting to be written, I don't know what is." Added NEAL, "I'm over the moon ... This is more than a dream come true. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to play the music I grew up listening to for the most passionate listeners in the format. Thank you to MIKE MCVAY, [CUMULUS/NEW YORK VP/Market Manager] CHAD LOPEZ, [WNSH PD] JOHN FOXX, and [WNSH APD] MIKE ALLAN. I'm looking forward to an amazing 2017."
