RADIO DALHART, INC. is donating Country KHJQ/CONCAN, TX to HOUSTON CHRISTIAN BROADCASTERS, INC.

In other filings with the FCC, GATEWAY RADIO WORKS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for WGWM-A/LONDON, KY while it awaits approval of a move to WINCHESTER, KY.

And SANDHILLS BROADCASTING CO., INC. has closed on the sale of Beach Music WLWL-A (BIG WAVE 77)/ROCKINGHAM, NC to BEACH MUSIC BROADCASTING, INC. for $300,000.

In a deal authorized by the school's Board of Regents but yet to be filed at the FCC, NORTHERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY is selling Triple A WNKU/HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY-CINCINNATI, OH to BIBLE BROADCAST CORP. for $1.9 million and trimulcast partner WNKE/NEW BOSTON, OH-HUNTINGTON, WV to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $700,000 plus 75% of the net proceeds of the spin-off sale by EMF of Contemporary Christian WEKV (K-LOVE)/SOUTH WEBSTER, OH-HUNTINGTON, WV.  The move, controversial among listeners and staffers who want to preserve the station's present format who rallied TUESDAY to protest the sale, comes after an extended period in which the school's administration debated whether to sell off the radio operations.  WNKN/MIDDLETOWN, the third station in the trimulcast, is also being sold at a future date.
