SIRIUSXM host HOWARD STERN is being sued by a woman who alleges her phone call to the IRS was aired on his show.
JUDITH BARRIGAS' complaint against STERN, his production company, and the U.S. government, alleges that she called the IRS with questions about her taxes on MAY 19, 2015 and was connected to agent JIMMY FORSYTHE, who talked to her for about 45 minutes; she alleges that FORSYTH had called into STERN's show and was on hold before he took her call and that somehow her call was put on the air, including her phone number.
The suit, filed MONDAY in U.S. District Court in MASSACHUSETTS, seeks compensatory and punitive damages plus attorney's fees and costs.
